Voter Turnout: Bangalore Central Parliament constituency

Till 1 p.m. on Thursday, 28.65% per cent of the electorate turned up to vote in the Bengaluru Central Parliamentary constituency.

A few voters, after casting their votes, talked to the NewsNet team about the issues which they felt were the most pertinent in this election season.

Prateek Desai, a resident of Malleshwaram said, ‘I was unable to find my voters identification card and decided not to vote. However, my fiance used the Chunavane app and was able to find the required information online which enabled him to cast his vote today.

Rucha Marda, a first time voter said, ‘It was very easy to find my name on the voters list. Initially I was standing in the long queue but then somebody told me that I can check my name online as well. In this busy schedules, such online services are helpful.’
