Bangalore, March 20, 2018: The Aam Aadmi Party released their first list of candidates for Karnataka’s election which consists of 18 candidate names.
The criteria for the selection of candidates is that they will go through the person’s background and make sure that they do not have any charges against them. The two basic criteria are that they should not have criminal or communal violence background.
Prithvi Raja, a candidate said, ” We do not have money in order to do regular campaigns and we go door to door and speak to them in order to create a personal rapport.”
The Aam Aadmi Party is focusing on youth and trying to connect with them at a personal level in order to win elections. Mr Ayub Khan, a candidate, said ” Since I am the youth member, I would like the youth to come forward and vote, it will also be easy for me to connect with them and talk to them about their issues. “
Hamina Shiek, a voter says ” I want a government that is honest and can solve issues of education, power and water. If the party promises to fulfil them then I will vote for them. “
Inclusive of the Aam Aadmi Party’s list of 18 candidates they also focussed on education, governance and awakening the youth.
