Voter Turnout: Bangalore South Parliament constituency

As of 1.pm on Thursday, 18th April, 2019,  voter turnout in Bangalore South Constituency was 30.70 per cent, according to updates by the Election Commission.

A few voters spoke to the NewsNet team about the various issues that have been concerning them in their constituency.

In certain assembly constituencies in Bangalore South, voters names have gone missing. About 500 names have been missing in BTM Layout 1st stage.

Koramangala and Vijaynagar constituencies also saw missing names in the voters list, and citizens are upset with their names missing from the electoral rolls. Mohammad Afroz, a voter from BTM layout said, “There must be an improvement in the education system, because I see many children working and not going to school.”

Citizens are also worried about issues like water shortage in Bangalore and they want the government to manage the water crisis in a better way.
